It’s October, I can hardly believe it!! October is definitely one of my favourite months- of course you have all the fall vibes, Halloween, and in Canada Thanksgiving. I remember growing up that Thanksgiving was always a big event where the whole family would get together and enjoy a huge meal. My sister and I would watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and get dressed up. One of the things that I love doing for holidays is creating a special tablescape for the event I think it really sets the mood for the evening. Another fun thing is using craft paper as a table runner, it’s inexpensive (you don’t have to worry about kids getting your expensive tablecloth dirty) and you can write cute things on it!
I love the idea of getting some colourful balloons for a friends-giving celebration. If you are hosting a friends-giving ask people to bring their favourite Thanksgiving dish!
