The Soak Method
Start by rinsing your rice, combine 1/2 cup of uncooked rice with 3 cups of water in a container. Let rice soak for 1hr in this time the nutrients from the rice will be soaking into the water. This method is quick but you can’t eat rice after so it’s kind of a waste.
The Boil Method
Start again by rinsing the rice. Go about cooking the rice as you normally would except add an extra 2-3 cups of water. When the rice is done cooking strain remaining water into a jar. Store in the fridge up to one week.
The Fermented Method
This method is very similar to the soak method but you will soak for much longer (12-24 hrs). This long soak time will help kick off the fermenting process.
