It’s the beginning of a new year and lots of people have goals to get healthy. After the hustle and bustle of the holiday season with all the delicious food and drinks it’s great to get back on track. I’m a firm believer that breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day and staring your day off with a delicious healthy breakfast sets the tone. Today we sharing 8 healthy vegan breakfast ideas with you!

8 Healthy Vegan Breakfast Ideas

One of the things you want in your first meal of the day is protein as this helps keep you fuller for longer and also some good carbohydrates to give you energy for the day ahead. When I first went vegan I was lacking ideas on what to make for the first meal of the day but since then I have come up with some great plant based meals to start the day!


This is one of my favourite breakfasts is simple, quick, and delicious. Add your favourite fruits, veggies and a vegan protein powder and you are set.


Oatmeal is a classic for a reason we love making it with almond milk fresh blueberries, and powdered peanut butter for some extra protein.

Tofu Scramble

So easy and so delicious add your favourite veggies to cook in a pan with the tofu. You can even add this into a wrap which is great for on the go.

Overnight Oats

There are tons of different flavours you can do and this is so simple to meal prep too.

Vegan Hash

Mix some potatoes and veggies in a pan and cook with spices you can add in some tofu for extra protein.

Avocado Toast

Can we really have a vegan breakfast round up without mentioning avocado toast? We love chopped red onions, tomatoes and Trader Joes Everything but the Bagel seasoning. Oh and don’t forget the sriracha.

Breakfast Burrito

We are thinking black beans and tons of veggies.


Of course we recommend one of the healthier ones low in sugar- just add plant based milk.
