It’s finally here… Spooky Season! I absolutely love Halloween it’s one of my favourite holidays. Something about Halloween feels so nostalgic to me, as a kid I remember dressing up, carving pumpkins and of course trick or treating! Now that I am an adult one of my favourite things to do is decorate my home, now I remember when I was younger how tacky all the Halloween decorations were, but not to fear there are some super chic ways to make your home spooky! Every year before I start decorating I go to Pinterest to gather some ideas and inspo. Here are some of my favourite Halloween pics from Pinterest.
Spooky & Chic Halloween Home Tour
Now I love keeping things neutral and Halloween is no exception. I think if you incorporate your Halloween decor into your regular decor it flows really nicely. I also love adding organic touches like real pumpkins, my go to for Halloween decor is lots of candles, candlesticks, spiderwebs, skeletons, and bats. I love the way this years decor turned out (I always try to do something a little different each year). The Entryway
I kept it simple but added some pumpkins I skip the traditional orange pumpkins in favour of neutral heirloom pumpkins.
The Coffee Table
I added lots of pumpkins and a cute little crow and mixed it in with our everyday decor.
The Mantle
We actually got a new mirror above the mantle and it’s perfect to add some spider webs to for a spooky effect, I also added some bats.
The Barcart
This is such a fun area to decorate I added lots of spooky halloween touches and some more bats.
The Dining Room
Our chandeliers are cover in cobwebs and so is our big shaving unit.
The Kitchen
I didn’t do too much in the kitchen but I added a fun Hocus Pocus quote to our letter board.
