The time has finally come to reveal Blair’s nursery! This was the one thing that I was really looking forward to when I got pregnant- designing the perfect nursery. When we found out she was a girl I was so excited, and we started to work on her room. It didn’t come together overnight we spent quite a few months working on it and I’m sure we will be making tweaks to it as time goes on. Keep reading to see baby Blair’s nursery reveal.
Nursery Inspo
Before I started decorating I took to Pinterest of course to gather inspiration. This is something that I love doing before decorating a space, it helps give direction as it can sometimes be tough starting from scratch. Now I knew I wanted the nursery to be calm and more on the neutral side- think creams, blushes, and nudes (no bright pink here). I also didn’t want it to be too babyish, I know that sounds weird as it is a baby’s room but I wanted the room to grow with her and have a sophisticated chic feel. After I gathered photos on Pinterest I put together Blair’s nursery mood board using Canva, this is a great tool and allows you to see everything together.

Once the mood board was completed we got to work on her room! With Coivd 19 affecting shipping times and stock I recommend shopping early to get all the big items. We went with a simple Ikea crib (as of late it is always sold out so I linked a similar one from amazon). We had my brother in law bring the crib from Winnipeg when he came to visit as there were none in stock in our city. I also loved shopping small and bought quite a few things from Etsy like the wallpaper which took my husband 8 hours to put up lol! For the artwork most of it is off Etsy and I found a really cool vintage frame for the large flower piece above her crib. It was such a fun experience decorating her room !
